Werywin Defence Private Limited (“Werywin Defence”) is licensed by the Ministry of Home
Affairs (MHA), Government of India vide license numbers M/NEW/0123/MHA/2021 and
M/NEW/0143/MHA/2023 to manufacture and proof-test arms and ammunition in various
categories and calibers. Werywin Defence possesses a license in Form – I by the MHA to
acquire and possess machinery to produce firearms and ammunition vide license number
M/NEW/FI/009/MHA/2022. Werywin Defence is subject to strict compliance with the Indian
Arms laws and Rules along with the ‘Defence Manual’ prepared by the Department of
Defence Production, Ministry of Defence for defence production industries.
Werywin Defence is subject to the regulations of the India Arms Act 1969, Arms Rules 2016
and amendments thereof, guidelines, licenses, permits, and procedures laid by various
Government of India departments, ministries and concerns including but not limited to the
Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Ministry of Defence (MoD), Ministry of Commerce,
Department of Defence Production (DDP, MoD), EXIM policy and corruption laws combating
corruption and bribery of public officials in a domestic or international business
environment. Werywin Defence is also regulated by various domestic and international
regulations on arms exports, whose export /re-export may be restricted by the U.S Arms
Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., Sec 2751, et seq,) or the U.S Export Administration Act of
1979, as amended (Title 50, U.S.C., App. 2401 et seq.) or the Ministry of Defence (India)
Export Control Laws. Werywin Defence technical information may not be exported, released
or disclosed to any persons inside or outside the Republic of India or the United States,
without first obtaining an export license from respective government agencies. Violations of
SCOMET, domestic, international or export laws relating to the arms are subject to severe
civil, criminal and administrative penalties
The website, Werywin Defence or any of its directors, employees, distributors, dealers, or
associates do not intend or solicit to purchase, sell, or transfer any firearms or ammunition
without gaining approval of relevant licenses under the Indian Arms Act, Rules, and
amendments thereof. Werywin Defence website or any of its content/material is for the
purpose of general information only and in no way intends to advertise the sale of arms and
ammunition. Illegal possession, sale, purchase, import or export of arms and ammunition is
a criminal offence and subject to severe civil, criminal, and administrative penalties Sales of
firearms and/or ammunition are strictly limited to licensed firearm dealers and license
holders subject to Arms Act and the Rules.
DISTRIBUTION POLICY
Werywin Defence sells firearms and ammunition exclusively through a network of licensed
arms and ammunition dealers available on its website under the ‘Stores’ section. Dealers or
customers bookings directly through the website booking option shall make payments after
receiving a formal quote directly from Werywin Defence arising from the email address
‘mailer@werywin.com’ and pay amounts as mentioned in the quote. Werywin Defence does
not intend to bill the customers directly and sales will be fulfilled through the dealer
network, any product bookings received by Werywin Defence through its website shall be
fulfilled by the authorised dealer network.
Werywin Defence shall not be held liable for any transactions between the customers and
dealers until the amount is credited to Werywin Defence's bank accounts.
